Founder of Kite Surf the Earth, Paul Menta, is a championship level wake boarder and competitive kite surfer. He has been involved with water sports since the age of 6 when his father put him on a set of water-skis. He progressed from water-skiing to wakeboarding in his teens and found the sport would not only allow him to compete on a professional level, but also allow him to earn a living doing what he loves. From wakeboarding kite surfing was the next obvious step.
Now listed as a Master instructor for PASA (Professional Air Sports Association), Paul trains the world's instructors as well as students with techniques that he has developed and perfected after teaching over 1000 students.
Along with Videos and writing for several magazines, Paul has published manuals on all aspects of Kite Surfing.
Wakeboarding, along with surfing and windsurfing has taken Paul to many exotic places in the world; riding, competing, and instructing. He has found that his multi-sport background has made him a more valuable kite surfing instructor. Many students come from varied sport backgrounds and he is able to communicate with them in a language they can understand.
Paul has been working 13 years as an executive chef. He has exhibited his culinary skills in France, Italy, Spain, and South America. His worldly travels have allowed him to broaden his scope of humanity.
of humanity. He has seen many parts of the world and knows where the good kite surfing spots are located. Paul can give you the local's view of the area instead of a tourist view. This makes him an excellent guide to ask him questions about kite surfing sites or to book your own personal exotic kite surfing package around the world. He is also fluent in Spanish.
Now, he spends all of his time teaching kite surfing, competing and perfecting his skills for the upcoming competition season or what ever challenge awaits. |
